Old French TV reports of the Citroen DS in rally competition such as 1962 Rallye de Montecarlo, Safari Rally, 1970 Rallye du Maroc (with Jean Todt as copilot), Ronde de Chamonix.

In its career as a racecar the revolutionary Citroen DS won 6 Manufacturer's Cup from 1960 to 1970 stepping onto 48 podiums in international rallyes from 1959 to 1963.

The DS was successful in motorsports like rallying, where sustained speeds on poor surfaces are paramount, and won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1959. In the 1000 Lakes Rally, Pauli Toivonen drove a DS19 to victory in 1962. In 1966, the DS won the Monte Carlo Rally again.
