Genova International invites applications for places on the 5th 18+ tour of Italy, to be held from July 17th to July 30th, 2011, in Italy. Tour objective: to provide a showcase for players without contracts or players looking for contracts. Ages:18+. Tour dates: 17th July - 30th July 2011 Venue: Hotel Antares Francavilla (Verona) Training Venue: Stadio Comunale Francavilla (VR). Key dates Arrival: 17th July: Milano Malpensa airport. Group escorted to GISS headquarters, 1hr 20 mins to destination (Veneto region). Players Press Conference/Presentation: 16th July: 6pm at Hotel Antares (media in attendance will include Sky, and local Italian television). Training commences: 18th July, 10am Equipment provided: playing kits, training kit, soccer bag, tracksuit and other gadgets. Previous tours - in 2007 and 2008 - have seen games played against Serie A, B and C official 1st teams, including Fiorentina, Chievo, Bologna, Livorno, Atalanta, Piacenza, Cittadella, Padova, Vicenza, Verona, Genoa, Mantova, and Piacenza. 2009 saw games against Chievo, Siena, Torino, Vicenza, Verona, and Mantova. 2010 saw games against Catania, Siena, Chievo, Albinoleffe, and Parma.
